Joseph Wayne Smith is Senior Research Fellow in the School of Medicine, and Research Scholar, School of Psychology, University of Adelaide. He holds advanced degrees in philosophy, medicine, and law, including a D.Litt from Flinders University. His most recent book is (with G.Madden), Why Climate Change is Creating New Catastrophic Medical Problems: The Crisis of Surgery, (Edwin Mellen, 2018). He has a contract for a book entitled, Cognitive Psychology and the Epistemological Crisis.
