
Susan Kurrie
Professor Susan Kurrle AO wears several hats including as a geriatrician in northern Sydney and southern NSW, as Curran Professor in Health Care of Older People at the University of Sydney and Clinical Director of the Northern Sydney Local Health District Rehabilitation and Aged Health Network. Professor Kurrle has an extensive track record in research and practice in dementia and frailty. She was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for her outstanding contribution as a geriatrician and her research into dementia and cognitive function. Over her 38-years of experience, Professor Kurrle has been a leader in driving progress in numerous areas of aged care including elder abuse, frailty and nutrition, dementia, ageing successfully and intergenerational practice.
