Six words for freedom

As a founding member of Big Ride for Palestine Australia, I know the problems faced in a sporting country like Australia, where major television networks and sporting bodies work to erase the background and purpose of efforts by APPO and Big Ride for Palestine South Australia to gently reach a mainstream audience about Gaza and Palestine.

Our rides have continued for more than 10 years.

Recently the Queensland government banned popular expressions for freedom in Palestine. Over 30 people face two years imprisonment for uttering these words:

The words are: “From the river t███████████████████ [Redacted under Queensland Government directive (2026).] Palestine will be free.”

Another term, hardly never uttered “███████████████████ [Redacted under government directive] is also outlawed by the Queensland government.

Supporters are showing up outside the court, and giving the accused a message of solidarity, and giving the government a message of shame.
