Albo's pathetic, inhumane, cowardly response.

Albanese’s tardy response to the report from Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia and the shut-down of debate at the ALP National Conference has set the seal upon the current government’s disgraceful abandoning of any pretense to support social cohesion.

We see the Albanese response to the Zionist Lobby being instant and followed by more than $100M of ‘special funding’ – to be dumped in the Zionist Lobby laps apparently without any requirements for its use. No coincidence that the reports of submissions to the Antisemitism RC seem to be coming in the main from those most closely associated with the Zionist Lobby itself. They work hard for the money.

On the other hand, 10 months for a response to the Islamophobia report response: a tepid acceptance of a few of the recommendations that amounts mostly to ’noted but we intend to do bugger all’.

Albo’s government is wreaking inequity on social justice. This is manifestly harmful to Muslims and Jews alike.

The shame will last for a long, long time.
