As we have come to expect from John a clear-eyed analysis of the problems of Labor decline through power seeking without purpose. The goal is to get and sustain power but never risk its loss by actually using it to achieve a better and fairer society. Power in and of itself becomes the sole purpose. The younger generations simply see that for what it is. A complete rejection of everything that Labor supposedly stands for! Thus the migration to the Greens, who they believe reflects their interests. Unless Labor changes, and I think that is pretty unlikely, they are doomed to go the way of the Coalition-sinking into irrelevance!!
