Australian state and federal governments are spending more than $660,000 per child per year for a detention centre bed or changing criminal legislation(s) but can support the fixing of the cause.

Children act up when families are under stress.

Part of the solution is to provide a family a safe home and proper living expenses (like Albanese’s mother was afforded as a single mother).

Instead Politicians superficially espouse and make claims placing children in jail will fix the problem. Politicians who think jail is the solution for children who act up, must also have a plan for when children get out of ‘the school of jail’.
