Sauce for the goose!

I imagine the Chinese would be perfectly happy to cease long-range missile testing over the Pacific on one very important condition. The US has been threatening and undermining China on and off since 1949, when according to them they “lost China”! Not of course that they ever owned it despite sending their military to China prior to World War 2 in an attempt to evict Japan and take over its dominance in China. They provided financial and military support to The vicious Chinese Nationalist regime of Chang Kai Shek.

The CCP, subsequent to the war, fought the Nationalists and won in 1949. Since then the US has had a mission to take control of China as they have with so many other countries of the global South.

Their constant threats have led China to develop defensive military capabilities to prevent that ever happening. They have surrounded China with dozens of military bases to enable them to eventually invade and occupy China.

It is hardly surprising therefore that China is testing weapons in the event that this invasion occurs. If the US removes its military bases and ceases to test nuclear weapons over the Pacific so will China!!
