The Israeli lobby accountable for antisemitism

Gareth cites Moore-Gilbert’s three categories of antisemites: Islamist Extremists, Neo-Nazis, and those whose abhorrence of the Israeli government have crossed a line into antisemitism applied to the diaspora.

The first two categories will always exist, in small numbers. It’s the third category that really impacts social cohesion. And in my opinion that’s where the Israeli lobby needs to be held accountable. It seems that the lobby demands 100% compliance from Government and Institutions or they’re labelled antisemitic. The deliberate conflation of anti-Israeli, anti-Zionist and antisemitic is important here. Both the Federal Government and the ABC lean over backwards to accept without question most of the self-evident lies fed them by the current Israeli government. But 90% compliance isn’t enough, they are still castigated. The NSW Premier goes further, total compliance, even when it smashes the Constitution, and he gets fulsome praise from the lobby. Other politicians notice this and get the message. But the public also notice it, and they get a different message.
