The USA versus China: China wins every time

In US war-gaming against China the US has lost in every conceivably realistic scenario. The outcomes varied depending upon the assumptions made but in the end the result was clear, and the fundamental reason, despite all the complicating factors is that the war would be fought on Chinese soil or in the surrounding waters, as there is no conceivable reason for China to invade the US.

Similarly China would almost certainly lose to the US if the situation were reversed, even with their vastly greater industrial, technological and military power. The reason is simple in that in either case the invading military has to project itself ten thousand miles across the Pacific in unimaginable numbers and in vast flotillas, that would be easily identified and eliminated thousands of kilometers before reaching the other. With the technological era in which this would take place hypersonic and ballistic missiles that are accurate to within metres and carry devastating payloads, along with vast swarms of cheap drones that would be a relatively simple exercise.

Only the ignorance of the Neo-con war-hawks around Trump believe the fantasy!!
