Trust yourself and us

I think the single most important issue for the ALP to address is the issue of trust. There is way too much time spent in back rooms, and all we see coming out of them are unsatisfactory compromises. Why can’t we have reasonable limits on gambling? What is happening to housing the homeless? All reports have the climate about to come down on us. Is the government even aware of this? What is the real story behind AUKUS? And why, please, are we not allowed to call a crime a crime and name the perpetrators? If ever there was a time for boldness, a time to stand up to be counted, it is now. One Nation’s appeal is, as they say, a mile wide and an inch deep. Waffling will benefit only them.
