Culture and gender respect must start at the top

I didn’t think Australian PM standards could sink lower than Scott Morrison scoffing down his breakfast while on an official zoom call with South Pacific leaders, including New Zealand’s Jacinta Ardern.

Then we have Albanese insulting Japan’s first female PM. Prime Minister Takaichi brings her nation’s most prized fruit as a gift for Albanese, grown within the sacred precinct of Mt Fuji, a gift laden with symbolic respect and generosity, and what does our PM do? For a cheap podcast laugh, he counters with a boob joke.
