Has the world finally reached Peak Trump?

For ten years he has either thrilled or appalled, but whichever camp one chooses to align with, for those ten years Donald Trump has been the only show in town. Or so the media generated narrative led us to believe. But like a party balloon, that narrative has now burst. The mendacity and avarice beneath the glitter can no longer be denied.

The uni-polar moment was misunderstood by some to be permanent. The United States bought the illusion, but the rest of the world didn’t. Donald Trump clearly bought it, but he was not alone. The entirety of the financial and military class now holding sway in the US stand exposed with him. They thought they could rule by themselves. They couldn’t.

But if the world has reached Peak Trump, the question remains, has the US? The deluded elite have left so many behind with limited to no hope. If they opt for repression instead of bowing to change, eventually revolution becomes inevitable.
