In response to Labor should talk about the cost of capitalism

Symptoms not the disease

Stewart has accurately identified the disease and shown how Labor no longer sees the need to cure it. That is a pretty clear indicator of the success of the more than a hundred years of propaganda in the west that has sought to divert public attention from it. Many of the best intellects and writers of that entire period have fought the good fight to overcome the sheer weight of that propaganda with very limited success.

That propaganda has been delivered through an educational system designed to set out and re-enforce the limits of acceptable thought and advertising and PR industries to cement in place that predisposition throughout life. It has worked pretty well for societal elites for a hundred years, but now is being confronted with the failures of capitalism set out so well, so long ago by Marx.

Capitalism, like all other human economic systems, has now passed its apogee and is now being eclipsed by another model better suited to the times and which it is clearly unfit to challenge. The new model recognises the failure of capitalism in its ability to make national politics and priorities subservient to the capitalists. China is it!!
