In response to Coalition panned after vowing to scrap renewable, EV and climate policies

Stop electing backwards-looking politicians

Thumbs down to the voters of Wannon who foisted Dan Tehan upon the nation for yet another term in parliament when we could have had the forward-thinking Alex Dyson. What cloud cuckoo land is Mr Tehan living in that he ignores skyrocketing prices at the petrol bowser, sales of electric vehicles (EVs) outstripping those of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, and the approaching energy crisis if we have to rely on perilously ageing fossil fuel energy infrastructure? Those three alone, never mind what farmers are facing if we don’t transition to renewable energy and a whole raft of other indicators, show that the nation no longer supports the fossil fuel industry. Why does Mr Tehan think fossil fuel lobbyists are working so hard and fossil fuel companies are spending such an inordinate amount of money telling us how lovely they are?

Australia and the world don’t want, don’t need, and definitely can’t afford a Coalition government or, even worse, the Libs and Nats being joined by One Nation. Climate change is real, for heaven’s sake!
