Doomsday clock
I was surprised at how much the doomsday clock had varied since 1947.
The Sachs article gives the US presidential timeline but not the Russian or Chinese equivalents. So much depends on leaders. I wonder if as well as the UN building in NY there was an equivalent United People’s building across the road how different the years since 1947 would have been.
Are the ICC and the ICJ the beginnings of people power as opposed to leaders’ power?
