DVD The Search for the Palace Letters
This is an important historical record, in fact, it is a record that requires constant and immediate access for the Australian public most of whom do not know any other means of accessing this information/video.
The ABC is the public’s access to the historical record on the events of 1975 and has, I believe, an obligation to provide transmission at all times if such a documentary is available.
On searching your accessible records I was unable to find any record of this video and so resort to a letter not only requesting access, but requesting this video be available at any time for easy access by the public, in perpetuity for anyone who deems it important enough to view it and for education of the history of this most important time in Australian history.
Currently, my experience shows that many, if not most, people born after 1975 have either no knowledge of the events nor interest. As the only reasonable, accessible means of gaining this information may I suggest you keep a copy of this important video on quick access to the public for its historical significance and for those who simply wish to know about this important time.
