A Home For M

Grassroots support can help many refugees find their feet. Working with very stretched organisations to support refugees. Safety is a primary concern.

Right now, the goal is securing a safe flat for M to live in.

M is a 17 year old female refugee who was harmed as a child on Nauru. Her father was in detention and the family has imploded.

M needs help to afford her own rental home. M’s life has been heavily disrupted through no fault of her own. She needs a solid base while she tries to scrape together her education & training.

Around $900 donated here has tided M over Christmas - New Year when agencies were shut.

Her goals of work, accommodation, study have all been disrupted … after years of sharing temporary spaces with trauma survivors. Let’s get her the foundations of a sustainable life: starting with a permanent dwelling.

Please help us help them.
