Mr Ron Brent is a retired public servant who worked for 7 years as Deputy Commonwealth Ombudsman, 6 months as Commonwealth Ombudsman, and then retired to take posts as the first Australian Aircraft Noise Ombudsman (2010-2017), and the initial Chair of the Australian Research Integrity Committee (2011-2020).
