Professor Mary Crock is Professor of Public Law and member of theSydney Centre for International Lawat the University of Sydney. Her expertise spans immigration, citizenship and refugee law, disability rights, administrative and constitutional law, public international law, particularly human rights and international refugee law, and comparative law. Her publications include leading texts on Australian immigration and refugee law and ground-breaking work on the intersections between disability, migration and human rights which she has presented to the United Nations. Her research has been cited frequently in Australias Federal Courts and High Court and she has given evidence before many parliamentary hearings in Australia, serving as adviser to the Australian Senate (Inquiry into Australias Refugee and Humanitarian Program, 2000);consultant to the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission(on immigration detention); and consultant to theRoyal Commission into Child Sex Abuse(on children in immigration detention).
