Monique Taylor is University Lecturer and Docent (the Finnish honorary title of Associate Professor) in World Politics at the University of Helsinki. She is currently co-coordinator of the Horizon Europe project The EU in the Volatile Indo-Pacific Region (2023–2025). Her recent research explores the internationalisation of the renminbi, central bank digital currencies, and the impact of Sino-Russian alignment across various strategic theatres. She holds a PhD in International Political Economy from the University of Queensland.
