Letter

In response to An open letter to Julian Leeser

A minor dissension

In an otherwise excellent open letter to Julian Leeser, a letter that needs to be read by everybody who supports Israel in its unconscionable campaign of genocide against the Palestinian people, I have only one small note of dissent.

In his opening paragraph he says the attack by Hamas was inhumane and without warrant.

It might be argued that the attack was inhumane, after all people were killed or captured, but without warrant, I dont think so. As Browning so go gently argues, the people of occupied Palestine have endured decades of dehumanising treatment. Under such circumstances I contend the sudden attack was certainly warranted and should logically have been expected.

Otherwise an excellent letter.
