Biden's Floating Aid Fails as Expected

Biden’s plan for sea-borne aid to Gaza is incredibly stupid - Pearls and Irritations (publish.pearlsandirritations.com)
I feel the need to update that gloomy premise, as the current summary of the results of the floating jetty are far worse than I had foreshadowed:
‘They miscalculated’: Gaza’s floating aid pier failing to deliver in rough seas | Israel-Gaza war | The Guardian
Fact: ‘Over the entire course of the pier’s operation so far, however, only about 250 truckloads of food and other humanitarian assistance (4,100 tonnes) have arrived by the planned maritime corridor, less than half of what would cross into Gaza in a single day before the war ‘
Entirely predictably, the exercise has been a monstrous failure, and the Israeli government takes no blame for the raft (pun intended) of impediments placed in the way of distributing any aid that HAS been delivered to the shore in Gaza. The only missing piece is a government/ IDF statement that the rough weather is caused by HAMAS.
And, entirely predicted, the ‘saga’ of the aid pier has masked effort to drive the Israeli government even a centimetre towards curtailing its genocide.
