Australia-China relations affected by COVID-19 crisis (RN Breakfast with Fran Kelly )

China has hit back at Australian calls for an international investigation into the origins and spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

A government spokesman in Beijing says criticism over its handling of Covid 19 is “groundless” and shows a “lack of respect” for the Chinese people.

The crisis could reshape the global order especially in our own region, with predictions China is now even better placed to overtake the United States as the primary power in East Asia.
