The Australian dream

Former Australian prime minister Paul Keating — who is staunchly against AUKUS — said, of Australians, that we are not content with our geography.

“But, no, we are not happy to be in the region. We are still trying to find our security from Asia rather than in Asia.” — Paul Keating at the National Press Club on November 27, 2021.

Thus here is the Australian Dream… If only the Atlantic were a little wider, the Anglosphere would be reunited.
