Children cry, while Israel lies

How is it the world is just standing by

Mothers cry, while Israel lies

surely as humans it’s our duty to try.

Fathers cry, while Israel lies

How can our leaders close their eyes

What’s happening in Gaza is devastatingly bad,

So many in the world feeling hopeless and sad.

There are people who believe that they’re alright

Close their eyes, declare that it is not their fight

Innocent Palestinians feeling forgotten, rejected

We must never forget we are all connected.

It’s time to open our hearts, make a stand

Stop this outrageous war, give them back their land

Wouldn’t it be amazing and ever so good

Imagine Israel and Gaza living hand in hand.
