Fan Yang
Fan Yang is a PhD candidate at School of Communication and Creative Arts, Deakin University. She studies the intersection of technologies, postcolonialism, and migration. Her doctoral thesis – News Manufactories on WeChat: The Word Business, Censorship, and Pseudo-Journalism examines the internal operation of WeChat in Australia through the lens of Human-Computer Mediation.
