Reshaping Australia: the Whitlam government and telecommunications policy

One of the Whitlam governments first major reform programs was focused on telecommunications. In January 1973, Whitlam announced a royal commission to investigate the Postmaster-Generals Department (PMG) and provide recommendations on Australias present and future needs'.
