Pearls and Irritations

07/10/2023 has assumed much of the gravitas and the horror of 09/11/2001. In the aftermath of each, the world has/had viewed the potential for international warfare with extreme trepidation and with good reason.

Due to the gross belligerence of the severely neocon US administration in 2001, we ended up with limited pointless but inexcusably evil skirmishes as the ‘West’ (aka, the US hegemony and its drover’s dogs) responded to the affront to its dignity and self-importance.

Now, the West is confronted by a new and very sincere challenge to its serene enjoyment of droit de seigneur over the rest of the planet: the implacable march of ultra-Zionist ambition for Empire over a vast arena of what is commonly called the ‘Middle East’. Conducted by the corrupt, arrogant and blatantly malfeasant ultra-Zionist government that ignores Western interests.

That government does NOT represent the views of all Jewish people; indeed the groundswell of opposition to the current Israeli government is growing very rapidly. Support for the current Israeli government is mostly being carried forward by those who have a deep vested interest in success of the Zionist ambitions; the old adage of ‘follow the money’ applies.

We have had 12 months of utter brutality and the blatantly genocidal actions of the Netanyahu government. Those who have memory or have studied the ascendancy of the Nazi government in post WWI Germany will recognise commonalities.

Now, in what can only be considered as an obscene revitalisation of the worst PR excesses of the Nazi era, we have the PR excesses of the Netanyahu government.

There are extant images of the Hamas attack from what would have been hundreds of mobile phone cameras at the music festival. Yet we have an explanatory movie exclusively using miniatures: ‘Chicken Run’ meets ‘Apocalypse Now?’ Any reasonable deduction would lead to the conclusion that there are no extant corroborative images that support the official Israeli narrative.

At least and at last, some respectable investigation is emerging: contrast this (from the latest ‘Five-minute scroll’ of October 8th) with the animated farrago cited above..

Given the outrageous lies spouted by Netanyahu, Hagari, et al, including the massive number of self-appointed, self-promoting Zionist ‘representative’ individuals and organisations, we in Australia are fortunate to have the Jewish Council of Australia bravely holding out truth against the propaganda from such groups as the ECAJ.

The JCA, by word and argument, places progressive, realistic, decent Jewry into a respectable place in the world community. The Zionists demand obeisance to the actions of a rogue, genocidal, apartheid, illegal and out-of-control government and military entity conflating it with the State of Israel, almost coincidentally duping the majority Israeli population by lies, intimidation, censorship and misinformation into an uneasy compliance.

For those who seek guidance to source documentation of the facts of the geopolitical development of the ‘Middle East’ since 1948, the resources of P&I provide a rich index. Hopefully, someone will undertake an examination of the many times the Israeli government/IDF has promised an ‘investigation’ of the horrific actions of its forces with an analysis of what the results of such ‘investigations’ have produced. We know from experience that the likelihood of any adverse finding against the IDF/settlers vs Palestinian people is in the order of a few % at best.

Our government is a camp follower (i.e. prostitute) of the USA in its unwavering support of the world hegemony of which Israel is a significant agent in its region. When Biden, Blinken, Harris, Trump, and a vast array of pliant toadies declare unqualified support of Israel our government scrambles to march in step while the Opposition drives a contemptible political agenda of incitement to inhumanity ‘in support of Israel’.

Atrocities have been committed by both sides in the ongoing conflict, but we have rarely seen such blatant manipulation of incontrovertible facts as spews daily from the Netanyahu government/IDF consortium.

Amidst the mountain of images of this conflict are many that exceed the description ‘concerning’. But there is one that surfaced in the first ‘Five-Minute Scroll’ published by P&I and referenced by me shortly thereafter, that has been removed by the ‘X’ overlords. There must be other copies, yet to surface.

It is for me irrefutable evidence that the IDF claim to be ‘moral’ is rubbish. It is an implacable thumb on the scales of justice. It should appear on the vast screens in the UN Assembly hall whenever decisions on the legality of the current Israeli government activities is considered.

It is a video clip of a baby – perhaps 12-15 months old, in its nappy – being lifted from the rubble of a Palestinian building.

First, the back view: in the centre of its tiny head, a bullet hole.

Then it is turned around before the camera: its face completely blown apart, a shapeless mass of bone and blood and tissue, torn from life so absolutely it is fathomless, bottomless, an object engendering choking revulsion.

As someone who was qualified as a ‘Marksman’ by the Australian Army – holding the Crossed Rifles – I know exactly the sight picture that would have preceded the squeezing of the trigger that obliterated this tiny life. There is no possibility that this was an accident or a valid enemy target.

Genocide in action. No excuse can suffice, no reparation could ever be commensurate.
