Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping-Oct-23-2022

Recently there was an interesting piece in the South China Morning Post on “Communist Party orders cells to study Xi Jinping Thought and learn speeches” See China’s Communist Party orders cells to make Xi Jinping Thought a priority, cadres must study president’s speeches, South China Morning Post.

So, we asked our research assistant Ms Copilot (Artificial Intelligence) to tell us what Xi Jinping Thought involved and whether it included preparing to attack other nations.

Her finding is below.

Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era encompasses several key elements that guide China’s political ideology and governance. Let’s delve into the main pillars:

1. Overall Goal: The overarching goal is to achieve socialist modernisation and national rejuvenation.

2. Overarching Task: Building China into a great modern socialist country by the middle of the 21st century. This vision includes prosperity, strength, democracy, cultural advancement, harmony, and beauty.

3. Overall Plan: A two-step approach:

  • First, complete the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
  • Second, propel China toward its vision of greatness.

4. Overall Strategy: Xi Jinping Thought emphasises the importance of reform, development, social stability, domestic affairs, foreign relations, national defence, and governance of the Party, the state, and the military. These aspects constitute a complete scientific system.

5. Modes and Driving Forces of Development: The theory emphasises innovation, technological advancement, and sustainable development as essential drivers of progress.

6. External Conditions: Consideration of global dynamics and China’s role in international affairs.

7. Political Guarantees: Ensuring effective governance through the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and adherence to socialist principles.

Xi Jinping Thought was officially incorporated into the Constitution of the Chinese Communist Party, elevating Xi’s status within the CCP.

Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era

Xi stresses further advancing study and implementation of Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New EraIt combines Chinese Marxism with the imperative of national rejuvenation, making it a significant ideological doctrine for contemporary China and the 21st century.

Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era does not explicitly advocate for attacking other nations. Instead, it emphasises peaceful development, mutual cooperation, and win-win outcomes in international relations. The focus is on China’s own development, stability, and prosperity, while maintaining a peaceful and cooperative stance with other countries.

It’s essential to recognise that Xi Jinping Thought prioritises national rejuvenation and greatness, but this is framed within the context of peaceful rise rather than aggressive expansion. China’s foreign policy under Xi Jinping aims for harmony, economic partnerships, and global stability.

However, like any complex political ideology, interpretations and implementations can vary. Some critics argue that China’s assertiveness in territorial disputes (such as in the South China Sea) and its military modernisation raise concerns. Still, these actions are not explicitly endorsed by Xi Jinping Thought itself.

In summary, while Xi Jinping Thought does not explicitly call for attacking other nations, its practical implications and China’s actions on the global stage remain subjects of debate and scrutiny.

Note that all this brainwashing is not preparing the Chinese cadres to mount wars against others.

Indeed, it emphasises:

“peaceful development, mutual cooperation, and win-win outcomes in international relations. The focus is on China’s own development, stability, and prosperity, while maintaining a peaceful and cooperative stance with other countries.”

If Chinese brains are being rewired to think this, as William Zheng asserts in the SCMP, perhaps it would be a good thing. But Ms Copilot won’t be thanked by the anti-China hawks who advise the Albanese Government!!!

The China hawks always look for official CCP quotes to demonstrate its ideology is imperialist – bent on militarily conquering neighbouring nations and eventually the world.
It must be frustrating for them that CCP cadres are being instructed to seek “peaceful coexistence” and “win-win development” with other nations with no mention of resorting to war.
Nations wanting to invade others build a popular narrative to justify their intent. If this is Xi’s plan then it is odd he is in not doing the same since he is commander in chief.
